I can’t wait to see who these guest hosts will be!
However, I have to say, Stefan’s frequent swerves into the completely inappropriate are a big part of why I love the podcast.
So, guest hosts, you have big shoes to fill!

Well, fine, I’ll insult people again to the point they’ll want to throw bricks in the back of my head.

It was… really neither good nor funny. When I say that, imagine the quality of it!

It seems to me that the saddest thing about Spokane was that it was always envious of what Seattle or Portland had. You’ve fed this Pacific Ocean-hugging beast by using the whole podcast to respond to one idiot in Portland (he might be the Mayor of Portland, in which case, I apologize). Don’t forget Spokane is something unique onto itself and don’t neglect your loyal Spokane podcast viewers.
By the way, and truly I don’t mean for this to be an insult, does Remi sound like Grover from Sesame Street?

I’m not going to speak for Spokane on this one thing but I’m fairly certain Remi and Stefan and our vast writing staff are not envious of Portland. We are, however, not above cultural reach-out, reach-around, whatever.
Don’t know Grover but I’m sure he’s awesome.

The end? What am I? Chopped liver? Fine. Make me wait 22 minutes to hear my own name. :)
I only comment because I care, just remember that Stefan.
7vs7… well done. So good. Great job! (there is your praise)
One small technical issue: the levels seem off. The intro music is pretty loud, and then the talking is more normal. So I have to adjust my volume each time. Not a huge deal. :)
DRUNK MARIO CART DRIVING! I would like to see that contest. Winner has to slam a beer, as a handicap.
I really wanted to make it to the Stefaning, but I have an important thing that Saturday. :(
FYI: The reason my comments are so long is that I am writing them as I watch. Think of this as an alternate commentary track.
Here we go….
Oh, more comments. Good point!

BOOM! YACHT! He lives down the hall from me! I have slept in the same BED as him! Oh, you are agreeing. Good.
It’s not!!! NO WAY! RIVER!!!! Astoria is on the coast, the OCEAN. Our river water is only brackish because of sewer overflow. I will fight you on this one.
Steve is one of those geography guys… I’m not.

Uh oh. YES! Look, it’s not “sour grapes”. It’s just a fact that you have a lot more information to build a list from. It’s like comparing Survivor Season 1 to season 2. Season One was so epic because NO ONE KNEW anything! Hatch was a genius! Once people started really watching the show they had a huge advantage in that they could be more prepared. It’s like GI Joe says, “Knowing is half the battle!”

That is scotch, and I’m pouring it into my cup which says (in gold lettering) “By Appointment to His Majesty The King of Sweden”, it is very fancy.

Remi, you don’t have a shirt and tie!!??!? For real?
That is amazing. What do you wear to weddings? Fund raisers? Church?
Stefan, with several. NICE! Looking forward to seeing that.
(Tie on the head must be followed by lampshade on head pretty quickly.)

That wasn’t a hipster tie!
Well, it was a little thinner than my other ties, but that’s just cause it’s old. And I like it cause it has fancy crests on it. I have a very awesome American flag tie that I don’t wear often.

I saw Mariah and she said the weather is nice.
Seattle and Portland are the same… wow. Wow. Them’s fighting words!
I’ll take you to this nice place in Portland Stefan, it’s called Starsbuckians, it’s a nice little place you’ll love!
Indoor mini-golf? That sounds great. Ooh, maybe not…
Yeah, we need some more competitions!

Hey, we’re all friends! I WELCOME CRITICISM! Seriously. It’s not mean. It’s not.
Panic makes Transmit, Coda, and some other stuff. What size are you guys? I’ll send you some shirts (American Apparel)
I dunno about other people. I like YOU guys. I mean, maybe a little bit of other people, like how Jon Stewart has correspondents or something. But we watch because we like YOU.

OK, Mikey, I’m sure we’ll talk about some of this on the podcast. As for the rest…
Drunk Mario Kart — Funny thing; I had this idea the other day that it’d be interesting to take averages on time while sober, after two shots, after four shots, etc. I think we might end up doing that on a podcast.
What you and Yacht do on your free time is none of our business.
Coffee exchange — Good idea, we’ll hook you up with some DOMA and Thomas Hammer.
I have a shirt; in fact I have shirts plural. No real tie and jacket though. Suits are for sell-outs, sir!
Free swag! Finally! I’m a L, I’m going to guess that Stefan is an XL. Tell you what, Mikey, we’ll send you podcast shirt in return as soon as they’re ready to go. Just tell us your size.
Portland correspondent; awesome! We’ll come up with something.

Just read the Spokesman piece. Is that it? Is that the extent of their piece on you guys? One word: LAME. And what’s the deal with not giving you an active link? Time for the Inlander to step up.
