Far be it from me to pick on the Spokesman with this one; anybody who has worked with automated content management systems will know these kind of things happen pretty frequently. With that said, the two following updates did have me look twice…

At first glance the new Wal-Mart building sure looked pretty sweet, and so did the large building next to it; is Post Falls finally growing up? No, of course it’s not, the rendering there is not of Wal-Mart or Post Falls, it is in fact the Grant Building in downtown Spokane, or at least a rendering of it from Nystrom, Olson, Collins. My question is, does Post Falls — or anywhere else for that matter — really need another Wal-Mart?

It’s great that Gregoire believes in the state economy and all, but do we really need a mugshot of Republican douche bag #1, Dino Rossi,  to illustrate the point?
