Yeah yeah, I’ve been lazy the last few days, but in my defense, I have been enjoying Bubble Garden bubble tea!

I think it’s like a normal tea smoothie with honey glazed tapioca balls (bola) on the bottom. ;

I had a real shock when I tried bubble tea for the first time… it was when I had just arrived in America, and I really needed a cup of tea. Turns out bubble tea is nothing like actual tea, though! And those balls at the bottom were bizzare. I tried on on its own and it didn’t taste of anything. I just had to drink the “tea” by swallowing the balls whole, without chewing, like a duck. And they felt like scrotum going down my throat.
It was interesting, though.
